At Jenn’s Yoga Garden, the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda is honored. Ayurveda is the “science of life” and gave birth to Chinese medicine. It encompasses nutrition, lifestyle, herbology, home remedies and yoga. Ayurveda takes into account that we are part of a larger whole (i.e. planet earth) and seeks to harmonize us with those cycles thereby optimizing our own capacities for wellness as individuals, in our relationships, in our communities, in our planet and in the cosmos

GREEN YOGA: Like the plants that photosynthesize sun to energy we will explore our relationship to the Earth and Cosmos. Students will be led through a mixed level Asana in which we experience all elements within the postures we practice. Using the wisdom of Ayurveda (Science of life) we will explore connecting to earth, air, fire, water and ether using mantra, breath, mudrameditation and sound.

ECO YOGA: Ecology is study of relationships. Explore the Dynamic inter-relationships of life-forms through this playful practice.This partner yoga or ‘trust yoga’ class will combine elements of therapeutic or passive stretching as well as core strengthening and balance.
